Are you a registered business? Do you have full liability insurance?

Yes & Yes. Rest assured that if anything happened during a session that we are both covered.           

 

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, i have some very nice backup equipment and have no hesitations in it’s abilities to capture perfect images.

 

Do you have a website where i can view your portfolio?

Where are your images printed and what format are your digital images?

I have several professional labs i use for all my prints (not supermarket minilab), canvas and photobooks. Digital images will be given to you in high resolution jpeg files. You also get a low resolution copy for social media/email sharing.

 

Do you shoot in RAW or Jpeg?

I shoot in RAW and deliver the images in jpeg.

 

Do you shoot in Manual mode or Auto?

I always shoot in Manual mode.

 

How long have you been in business?

I’ve been in business for 5 years.

 

What are your main interests in photography?

I love photographing newborns and babies.

 

How long does it take for my gallery to be uploaded?

I allow up to 2 weeks for the gallery to be uploaded to my website. Once your order has been placed, please allow a further 10 days for any prints/canvas.

 

What kind of lighting do you use?

I use flash lighting at a very low output. It will not cause you or your baby damage to your eyes.

 

Do you do studio or location sessions?

Newborns and children under 12months, maternity and cake smash i do in studio, the rest i prefer on location.

 

Do you provide or use props?

I have a number of props for newborns and small children which you may or may not wish to use. I personally am not a huge fan of over-propping so often like to keep it simple and have your children be the main focus of the images.

 

Can we provide input and personalise our session?

Yes, you certainly can. I love when people come with their own ideas and really capture the essesnce of your personality.

 

Do you practice newborn safety and how long have you been photographing newborns?

Yes, i put the baby’s safety first before any pose. I’ve been photographing/handling newborns for over 5 years and thats not taking into account my own 2 children. I've also been involved in a newborn safety workshop and learnt how to handle newborns correctly.

 

Are you up to date with all your vaccines?

Yes, i’m fully up to date with all vaccines including whooping cough.

 

Can i choose not to have my images displayed over the internet?

Yes, i only upload pictures to facebook when requested by the client. Should you wish to not have your images on display on my website or marketing material you only need to let me know.

 

Who owns copyright to the images from the session?

I retain full copyright to the images and your digital images come with a print release. You may share and print images as you please but all images remain property of Tanya Stokes Photography.

 

Is there a contract that needs to be signed?

Yes, every session requires a contract to be signed. It covers what you get in your package, model release, copyright etc. If you sign it you are agreeing to the terms set out in the contract. This includes online contracts as well. If there is anything your not sure of i’m more than happy to go through it with you.

 

Do you offer layby or payment plans?

I’m in the process of setting up a payment plan option. Should you wish to take advantage of this service please just ask.
